About the Course
For the
purpose of understanding and measuring psychological traits such as attitude,
aptitude, intelligence, personality etc of an individual, psychometrics is used
as a standardised method which is gaining importance in the present time. The
applied psychometrics and scale construction course offers a comprehensive
understanding of the principles and techniques used in conduction, developing
and utilizing psychological measurement tools across various settings. In
Psychometrics, various scales and assessments are used. This course will enable
the learner to understand its uses across various settings and learn its
conduction and evaluation. This course will also enable the learner to
construct effective tools as per their requirements, assess its reliability and
validity and understand various other nuances of its creation.
This course
through a combination of academic knowledge and practical experience will allow
the learners to gain the necessary skills to create, evaluate, and improve
measurement tools used to assess psychological concepts across different
contexts.

Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Human Resourse. A bachelor's degree in psychology, education, human resources, or a related field is preferred. Students and professionals from other fields may also apply if the applicant has relevant work experience. Applicants must have a basic proficiency in statistics or research methods and relevant IT tools and software.

marks out of 100 is the eligibility criteria for providing certificates to the
students.
